The Granger Mine operates as a passive solution mine, producing approximately 1.3 million short tons per year (Mtpa).

The Granger mine was originally a stand-alone conventional mine opened in 1950. It was shut down as a conventional facility in 2002 and then converted and restarted as a passive solution mine in 2005. The plant was refurbished and expanded between 2019 and 2023 to where it stands today.
